The Dell Inspiron E1705 is powered by new Intel Core Duo and Core 2 Duo Processor which offers up to two times the CPU performance on entertainment and gaming and up to 12% of overall system performance improvement. The featured Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 offers enhanced multimedia handling and management. The 256 MB Nvidia graphics and an integrated sub-woofer enhance the multimedia and gaming experience.An optional 17 inch UltraSharp TrueLife widescreen UXGA (1440 x 900) display provides an incredible viewing experience. The 8 pound Inspiron E1705 has the dimensions of 1.6 (Thick) x 15.5 (Wide) x 11.3 (Deep) inches and the battery life is approximately 3 hours. The Dell Media Direct Technology allows users to enjoymovies, photos, and music without booting it. It recognizes files stored on the hard drive, optical drive, 5-in-1 memory card reader, and even a USB key.
