Dell Latitude XI Widescreen Laptop

The Dell Latitude XI is a lightweight, sleek designed and an ultra portable business notebook. The Latitude XI packs the latest components and wide-screen display into a thin, featherweight case and battery life of six hours makes it ideal for traveling. It holds a 12.1 inch WXGA display and dimensions measured is 286 x 196.8 x 25 mm. It includes the Pentium M Processor ULV 733 (1.1 GHz), 256 MB RAM, and a 30 GB hard drive.

The Latitude XI uses integrated graphics i.e. Intel Graphics Media Accelerator and there are no inbuilt optical drives except an external modular bay with DVD/CD-RW support. Dell has also included built in Bluetooth and an option for 60 GB hard drive. Latitude XI supports Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, itunes, Picasa, and AOL Instant Messenger.

Dell Latitude XI also features a Standby and Hibernate modes options that can be set by using Fn button and Esc (standby) or F1 (hibernate). The featured keyboard is really comfortable to use but few of the buttons are tightly positioned which results in false pressing of keys, and contrast control, volume control, mute control options are available as well. The touchpad is small i.e. 1.5 inches tall and 2 inches wide.
