Dell Latitude D520 Widescreen Laptop

The Dell Latitude D520 is a bulky business model notebook having dimensions of 336 W x 275 D x 40 H inches and weighing around 2.8Kg. It includes 14.1 inch WXGA+ wide screen having a resolution of 1,024 x 768 and also an optional SXGA+ display with 1,400 x 1,050 of resolution. D520 is powered by Intel’s latest GMA950 integrated graphics to support standard office applications. It can be used wirelessly because of the featured Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN (a/g) Mini Card and Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth.

Dell Latitude D520 features an Intel core Duo T2500 2GHz Processor or Intel Celeron M 1.6GHz, a 1.0GB, DDR2-667, 1 DIMM Memory, 100GB Hard Drive 9.5mm SATA 7200 RPM, and a standard DVD/CD-RW drive. D520 offers a good mixture of performance and battery life. The battery included is Lithium Ion 9-cell (85WHr) Primary Battery and the average sized AC adapter that weighs around 0.8 pound. The Operating Systems provided with it are Microsoft Windows XP Pro and SP2, and a keypad and touchpad with UPEK fingerprint reader are the featured input device types.

The standard accessories include the power adapter, modem cable, user manual, and resource CDs. The laptop includes headphone, microphone, 56Kbps modem, Ethernet jacks, FireWire, infrared, S-Video out, VGA, four USB ports, and a serial port for old peripherals. D520 also features a single Type II PC Card slot in order to support the Express Card/34 standard as well. Some of the other accessories that can be purchased with D520 are D/Dock Docking Station, D/Port Replicator Docking Station, and Dell UltraSharp 2007FPW 20.1 inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor.
